Admissions and Enrollment
Open Enrollment Begins January 2025

“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” Proverbs 2:1-5

Admissions Guidelines

Acceptance to PVCS is dependent upon previous academic and behavioral records as well as placement testing results. A parent and student interview is required with the Administrator/Supervisor for all students. Each student will be required to sign a Standard of Conduct Agreement. Parents and students must sign, and be in full agreement with, the policies of the Parent and Student Handbook.

Application Procedures

  1. Schedule an informational meeting for the parents to meet with the Administrator/Supervisor. (608-592-2273 or pvcs@prairievalley.org)
  2. Obtain the admissions application packet at the parent informational meeting.
  3. For each child, complete and return the enrollment application, accompanied by the application fee and most recent report card, if applicable.
  4. Schedule and conduct an admission interview with both parents and child with the Administrator/Supervisor. The purpose of this interview is to tentatively accept or decline an applicant. The school will notify parents of a child’s admission status after the interview or at an appointed time. If the student is denied admission, the registration fee is non-refundable.
  5. If tentatively accepted, the student must schedule and undergo diagnostic testing.
  6. Parents/student are notified of testing results and final admission status, and any testing concerns will be discussed.
  7. All supporting documents such as birth certificate, immunization record, transcripts, etc., are submitted for the student’s file.
  8. Parents must attend Parent Orientation before the school year begins. Parent/Student Handbooks are discussed and parents are shown what a typical school day for their child will look like.
